This is an ode to bike shops that… well… the ones that donk suck. I’ve been through hundreds of bike shops throughout the US and worked with many. Some are better than others, but unfortunatly many of them aren’t that great I found. Unless you’re in there with an AMEX Black card holstered and ready to fire at a SWERKZ bike that costs more than your Subaru you might as well be non-existent. Joe’s Show is different. He is OCD about keeping his customer’s bikes working better than when they bought them. He’s a concierge vigilante of the bike industry, and we’d all be better off with more caring individuals in retail and service industries like him. He’s not there to take your money; he’s there to improve your life and be your friend.
